Artist Payment Guidance
Standard Fees
The standard fees for Little Folk events are agreed formally by the committee.
The last update to standard fees as below was at the meeting on 9th July 2023.
Factory Concerts
The artist payment for concerts at the Big Picture Factory - or an equivalent House Concert will be.
Solo performer : $400
Duo : $500
Trio or more : $600
In the case that the event sells out (60 or more paying tickets) the fee will be increased to a total of not more than $800.
Supperclubs
Fee Structure for Supperclubs will be reassessed by the committee once a new venue has been identified and associated costs are established.
Folk in the Forest.
The festival remains our flagship event for the year, and is a 100% voluntary arrangement for all organisers and performers.
Although certain exemptions can be made with the prior approval of the committee, it is anticipated that everyone, including organisers, performers and volunteers will pay for a ticket and accommodation to this event.
Limited exemptions may be applied for performers who have travelled, partly or completely, at their own expense, or who may be considered to be a sufficient drawcard to the festival and the organisation, that we do not wish to miss the opportunity to have them on the program.
In recognition of an artist’s commitment to Little Folk in appearing on the program without charge at the festival, the organisation will look for opportunities to host a paid Factory Concert, SupperClub or other event throughout the year.

Website and device information
Web page
The organisations web page is hosted on Weebly, an online DIY website building platform.
It was originally set up on our behalf by Jane Cornes, and is still associated with her account.
When logging in to edit the site it is important to ensure we do not impact her business pages in any way.
Our web page address : www.littlefolkinc.com.au
Address for editing : www.weebly.com
Login ID : [email protected]
Password : (Noel to locate from Janes email)
Trybooking
All our events are ticketed through TryBooking.
Address for login : www.trybooking.com
Login ID : [email protected]
Password : Lfolk123
The simplest way to create a new event is to clone a past event, then change the date and description before saving.
Note, there are several placed where names etc have to be changed – check the public view of the site carefully before sending out any promotional emails.
Supper Clubs are not created as new events, but instead are additional sessions in the same series of events. This allows the website to retain the same booking link for all Supper Clubs as people often save that to their favourites.
Emails
Little Folk has two email addresses, [email protected] for general communications about events, and [email protected] for all comms specifically related to the festival.
Both addresses have the same password with Gmail : Lfolk123
It is important to use these addresses in preference to personal emails when conducting any comms on behalf of the organisation.
When one committee members is responding to any email in wither of these boxes, we have implemented the practice of CCing the same Little Folk address in the reply, so other committee members can see we have responded. This avoids two people replying to the same query (potentially with different information)
Soundcraft MixerThe mixing desk used for all events is Noel’s Soundcraft UI24 wireless mixer.
This includes a Netgear router which has to be turned on also to allow connection.
The mixer is controlled by any device with a web browser and a WiFi connection.
Noel’s IPad Pro is the best device, but any laptop, tablet or even mobile phone will work.
